Green Screen History:
Green Screen is one of our award winning short films with a great history. It was also one of our favorites to create.
We shot the into at our friend’s (Ali Wade) trailer in Aspen.
This short film (because of some last minute technical difficulties), did not make it into the 2007 Drake Magazine Fly Fishing Video Awards – but we entered another short (Kate and Mark) that took “Best Story” in the film festival. We then entered Green Screen into the Winston Movie Awards and took an award for “Best Film.” So there is now a plaque on our office wall, signed by all the judges, for “the film that didn’t make the drake mag cut.” The prize for winning “Best Film” was a trip to Ascension Bay Bonefish Club, where we shot footage of Bonefish and Permit for a week in Mexico.
